Burn kicking

Its what the title says it is. My friend was shit talking me again per usual, and said i'm too shitty of an artist to be able to draw a fight scene. So i'm working on this to prove them wrong, lol. I grew up with DBZ if my art style isn't evident of that, so i know fight scenes like the back of my hand.

I've just never drawn one before is all, but it can't be that hard. Given my time spent RPing, I know that positioning is incredibly important, especially since i'm trying to sell the impact and motion of the strike after the hit has already connected. The only real hard part will be finally visualizing Burn's "anti-light resonance" with his prothesis since whenever he strikes with his mechanical apendages, it creates a shock wave immediately after the strike that sends the opponent flying. It's something i've never drawn before, so that'll be an interesting challenge. The closest i can really compare it to is how Black Panther's suit works in the MCU (although its an idea that i've used with Burn in RP as far back as about 2014 with Burn's sword before he switched over to focusing more on his melee combat).

Anyways, i'll be getting back to the Saito drawing after this. I have a friend I need to 1-UP.
